Alley cat

Yesterday was Ryan's birthday and we celebrated with an afternoon stroll in our neighborhood that included shopping, wandering, getting lost, and wining (dessert alcoholic drinks) and dining (burgers). Jealous? Okay, sure, we're a little boring but I'd prefer the term "low-key". I'm certainly a little more out there than Ryan, hence this kitten tunic-dress from Zara. It's the Miu Miu knock off that nearly knocked me off my feet when I saw it a few weeks ago in my size and in my price range. This was the first time I wore it, and boy, am I in love. Oh, and that jacket? That's also new, but more on that in a near-future post.

    That's so funny that you guys are saying that blue is my color! I pretty much never wear blue, but everything I love has been blue recently. I went from a couple blue things in my closet to about 5 or 6 in the past month, ha!

    That dress is simply ADORABLE. I love your bag. I just got one that is somewhat similar, and I've found I wear it with everything. It's just so versatile.

    jen - zara is a slightly more expensive version of h&m, but their sizes are weird. some of their clothes go up to an XL, but most of the time are not very forgiving. This was actually my first Zara purchase, and I plan on going back, but only occasionally. And thank you so much for the shout out! You are definitely one of my favorite new bloggers and it's so sweet of you to mention me. <3
