I'm so happy that I can finally wear this dress/tunic! I bought it at Ruche sometime late last year and haven't had an opportunity to wear it. It's pretty oversized and I think it's long enough to pull off as a dress, but I haven't figured out how to style it up. I recently got this skirt from Old Navy during their friends and family sale and despite the bumpy seams (I need to iron it better), it's everything I've been wanting! I think they're a really great pair. I love seeing how other bloggers have worn this dress, such as the Clothes Horse, Mademoiselle Robot, Lulu Letty, and WishWishWish. It can be really challenging to find versatile pieces that aren't super basic. I'm sure this little number will find its way into many spring and summer outfits after a much needed dress up date with myself. Those really are the best kind of dates!

ReplyDeleteCute! I was a little surprised to see that worn as a dress in the links you provided since to me, it is a wee bit short! But I like it tucked in and I bet I would like it with leggings. I totally had a shirt in almost that exact print in the 90s. Who woulda thunk I could have all that hippie stuff and people would want to wear it again? :)
ReplyDeleteI actually bought it in a large, and I'm probably shorter than those girls, so it hits me at mid-thigh (I had to use some fierce womanly tucking skills to make it not peek out of my skirt)! The only setback is how oversized it is... I don't know if I'll feel "safe" wearing it alone! I do love that it translates as bohemian and vintage-inspired styles. I'll get my money's worth, I'm sure!
